Why Lord Shiva create expanding universe?

Lord Shiva create our universe but it is not a static.

Universe is dynamic. It is expanding means distance between two object increase because space between them expand.

Let's first see, how scientist know about expanding universe...

Introduction

Scientists confirmed, size of observable universe is 93 billion light year. But the question is how it is possible? Is there any error?

It may not possible. After research of year scientists prove, length of observable universe is nearly 93 billion light year.

If there is no such a big calculation mistake or error in experiments. So how this possible?

Speed of Light

Speed of Light is one of the fundamental in nearly all modern cosmological theories.

"Nothing move faster than speed of Light in space."

It is one of the fundamental law say, it is impossible to fast than speed of light. If something travel faster than light than it might go into past!

Einstein's Law of Relativity

What is the law of relativity?

It state, if you are in the rest condition than you measure speed of light as 299,792,458 m/s and if you measure while moving at some velocity than also this is exact same as that you measure in the rest condition.

When Einstein solve some equation then he know that speed of light 'c' appearing in those equation in naturally way .

How can we decide that what is rest condition? After many research and experiments Einstein know that this speed remain constant for all observer.

It leads to some illustrative condition but this is conformed by many experiments and astronaut is feel time shorter than in earth!

Discovery of Hubble

Hubble is one scientists that discovered redshift. When galaxy is too far they are going more far by each other and even whole universe is expanding. It is not because this objects move but because space is expanding.

If we apply relativity law on whole universe, it would be not stable. Either it is expanding or opposite happen.

Hubble discover this facts and after it is confirmed, space is expanding.

What is meaning of exapanding space ?

The age of our universe is approximately 13.8 billion year. By that distance when light is coming us from that source that we see light but from that time distance between this galaxy or star is increased because of expansion of space.

There is increased distance means what we see is too long than we may expecting.

Means when we see universe which we can see up to 93 billion light year of universe. But actually universe is 13.8 billion year old. Because of expansion of space it happen.

Why God Shiva make universe as expanding?

For creation of life, it is necessary to have gravity.

Four fundamental forces in which gravitational force and electromagnetic force act upon long distance.

Now, stars and planets have almost zero net charge. Means only force act is gravitation.

The problem with gravity is that if gravity is continually applying to all object then all things are come into one place and there is no such things as Earth, sun, moon exist. Because all object are come in one place.

But if universe is not stable and increase space between them, problem is solved. Gravity continuous works but object are not becoming one point because space between them is increase.

So, by making universe as expanding our life become possible and all forms of planets and stars are in space because of it.

It also the one proof of the big bang theory means times and space is not previously exist and it is created. It is created by Lord Shiva.

Lord Shiva create all world in a way which is as perfect as possible. They make all of us as part of creation.

We are here for a reason.

What is reason?

To surrender ourselves to Shiva and always worship them. Always live with pure devotion.

We are here in material world for some purpose and our purpose is to meet Lord Shiva.

When our soul goes into Mahadev, we fulfill purpose of life.

So, always chant name of Shiva with true devotion. They will make change in universe which effect on you in surprising way.

Why we give water and milk to Shivlingam?

I am sure that you heard like:

"Isn't water and milk given to Shivlingam waste? You should give it to poor person."
"Pouring water in worship is only faith. There will nothing happens. All milk will be wasted in temple."

In fact, many people shows against Shivpuja. They says you should donates this money to poor people.

But there is reasons for giving water to Shivling.

To understand it let's first know the history of formation.

History

In Vidyeshwar Samhita of Shiva Puran, event behind appearance of Lingam is described.

A long time ago when universe has starting age, there is controversy between Vishnu and Brahma.

Both are about to fight but when they start, the big column of fire appears there.

Brahma and Vishnu are surprised by it and says; What is this? Why it appears here?

Both discuss to find the end of the big pillars.

Brahma go to upper side and Vishnu go to downside in Vaaraah Avatar. Vishnu go to downside for long time.

Time passed is one Kalpa means crores of years but still it seems to have no end. At last, Shri Vishnu understand that it have no end, this fire pillar have some purpose. So, Bhagwan Vishnu return to original place.

Brahma also find no upper end till crores of years but they think that it should have end and I find it.

At that time, they see flower Ketki fall there. Brahma ask him, Who are you? From where you come? How long it from you fall?

Ketki answer, I am on head of Lord Shiva but at that time ego come in myself. I think that how powerful I am that I am on head of Mahadev. But at this time, Mahadev nodded and I fall down. I fall from too long time but it seems to have no starting neither end.

Brahma want to prove him superior by finding end, so he ask Ketki to speak lie for him when he say Vishnu that he find the upper end.

Ketaki agree. Brahma with flower Ketki return and meet Madhusudan.

Vishnu speak truth as there is no end but Brahma lie, they also say Ketaki is witness. When ask to him, he lie.

At that moment, Lord Shiva appears and they take Bhairav Avatar to punish Brahma. Bhairav cut fifth head who lie. Lord Shiva punish Ketki to be witness with lie. They give boon to Vishnu who stay with truth of worshipped everywhere. Even Lord Shiva make Vishnu as God of them.

After Lord Shiva give knowledge to both and describe various forms of them.

Interpretation:

Pillar of fire is Shivling. Shivling is appear at time of creation of universe. When Big Bang happen, within short time space expands and energy released. As time pass, matters and particles are created. At that stage Lord Shiva may appear in Shivlingam form. The Shivlingam have too high amounts of energy, it is symbol which represents state of universe. Because in this state, it is hot having too much energy; To make it quite, we pour water on Shivling. By pouring milk and water, energy down. We symbollically give respect to Shiva by Pouring water on them.

As giving water to root of tree, whole tree will saturated and further no need for individual treating of leaf and branch; giving water to Mahadev will energized whole universe because it is fundamental.

There is other reason also.

Here is reason:

Shivling is for thousands of years in temple, made from stone.

For example, 12 Jyotirling which is at time of Satyayuga.

This Shivlingam may have effect of erosion because atmosphere have micro organisms and gases like oxygen which react.

Such effects is not there if poured milk and water on Shiva.

Benefits of pouring water and milk on Shivling

Effects are as follows:

Mind become spiritual and free from negative energy.
When water given to Shiva, whole atmosphere become holy.
As per Shiva Puran, By pouring water, We get Shivloka because Lord Shiva pleased on us.
God take care of us and they will make life of us such that happiness will increase day by day.
God will remove sins which done unknownly.
Son of Mahadev, Ganesha will please on you who decrease problems in life.
Pouring milk to Lord Shiva will increase devotion. At stage of pure devotion, Lord Shiva may want to give Darshana in the dream.
Lord Shiva, Bholenath is so kind that they give more than what you deserve. For example, Demons are get boons by Mahadev.
Offering water on Lingam make Lord Shiva happy. They are called as one who follow his devotee. By blessing of them, You feel effect, an undescribable miracles Everytime.
We improve our life when we do worship by water, milk, Good qualities developed in us.

Answer to some questions

"Why you pour valuable milk to Shivlingam?"

Why not?

Everything is given to us by God. Why we not give them?

In fact we didn't give them. We return them and Show respect to them. It is our duty.

A person may not understand that there is God. He may believe that there is stone. But there is God Shiva who stay there.

Also Why not question on other regions? Only Hindu become in question. In Diwali due to crackers, in Holi due to water. Is all pollution is due to Hindu festivals? Crores of rupees spend in to film, party and bad things. Is anyone question there?

A people who think to their own benefits may not spend money on God but God make Universe, planets and everything, this world run by God's wish. We are only dice, nothing is in our control.

People who think about material things can't understand spirituality. For example, a student who not even know basic mathematics have almost impossible to know about Calculus, Integration and Higher level mathematics. God is outer than physical dimensions; beyond energy, space and laws. A karma for God have such effects which is unexplainable to one who doesn't feel it.

Often people who argue to help poor instead of God, do nothing for them.

If some watch in theatres which cost much money, why shouldn't he give it to poor people? They spends lots of money in useless things or things which is for material enjoyment. Why shouldn't this is for poor?

Cows are like a mother of us. If we offer milk to Mahadev, more cows will grows because people take care of it.

Lord Shiva is the Supreme Creator of the universe.

Even all Vedas and Puranas can't explain glory and say "Neti Neti", means it is impossible to know them.

Name of Shiva is "Aashutosh" which means they are easily pleased. They are impressed even on demons who completely make themselves for God.

Make your mind divine and clean which always remember qualities of Shiva

Our mind is a most important part of true devotion.

Bhagwad Gita says about it in Adhyay 6, we can win everything if mind is in control. But it become enemy if uncontrolled.

If we think good and right things, it becomes easy to remember Shiva because God wants to stay in mind which is clean. So keep away from negative energy.

Surrender yourself completely to God Shiva

Any method of worship will give true effect only when we surrender ourselves to a creator of the universe. They will be pleased on you if you make every karma with them in mind. Be sure to do karma without any expectations as Bhagwad Gita teach.

Give donation to poor people

Make sure to donate some money to the poor person who not has shelter to live or food to eat because Shiva stays in every person. Even if you do not have more money to give, consider donating small amount.

Chant mantra Om Namah Shivaya 1008 times with concentration

Om Namah Shivaya is such mantra which can transform your life in a way which you never imagine.

You can chant 2000 times or 10 thousand times. Remember the glory of Mahadev while chanting. Chant it every day without missing.

In beginning, you can chant 108 times for first few days. After increase mantra japa, from 108 to 216, 216 to 540 and reach to 1008 times.

Go to Shiva Temple

Visit temple every day. If it is far from your house, you can visit on Monday or one time in a week. You can visit in early morning or evening.

Our mind becomes stable when we go to spiritual place, temple. The atmosphere in temple help to concentrate Shiva.

Do 11 times or 108 times pradakshina in temple

Chant Mahamrityunjay mantra or Shadakshar stotra while doing Parikrama. Do it slow with Lord Shiva in a heart.

Lord is Complete and form of the universe. They are at centre.

Chanting may difficult first time. But listening is easy and spiritual bhajans make our life filled with happiness.

Our goal of life should only "To connect with God"

Fast on Monday in each week

We need a break from eating one time in a week because our digestion system continuously work.

On Monday, do not eat anything which made from grain. You can take fruits and milk. If it is saavan month, do vrat of 16 somvar. In this vrat, Do Puja on the each Monday.

Read a story which explain reason behind 16 Somvar and result achieved from this vrat.

Recite panchakshari mantra or rudrashtakam on this whole day.

Wear Rudraksha

Why Rudraksha are so much Good and have importance?

Because in Sanskrit it is:

Rudra - Lord Shiva

Aksha - Eyes

Thus, the meaning is "eyes of Mahadev". One who wears Rudra, he is dear to God.

In Shiva Purana one chapter is about Rudraksha which explain types, benefits and rules of Rudraksha.

When you wear, don't do anything bad karma. Always try to think Lord Shiva and make yourself for them.

Meditate Shiva

Mahadev is one who meditates almost always. Devotee who does meditation is liked by them.

Become clean

We should be physically and mentally clean. Means we should take bath for physical body. Our thoughts are also needed to be free from bad thoughts.

Become kind

One name of Shiva is "Bholenath".

Means they like a person who is innocent. Always be generous, respectful, and behave well with all people.

Chant Shiv Sahasranama

Sahasranama is so powerful that will give everything. Lord Vishnu chant it with true devotion. Devotion of Shri Vishnu is such that, they give eyes as Kamal and called "Kamalnayan". By seeing this, Shiva give Sudarshana Chakra to Vishnu.

Lord Shiva says,

One who chants Sahasranama daily, he never suffers even in a dream.

You will feel the presence of God within yourself and see them everywhere.

Make other devotees to your friend

Our friends play a major role in our development. If friends are spiritual and devotee, we can know about Bhakti. So, associate with a devotional person.

Think about God Everytime in life

Make your every second dedicated to Lord, think about them every time. Don't waste any time, only things which require is true devotion.

One moment becomes such that you will see Lord Maheshwar in your dream because God want to give you darshana by your true Bhakti.

Make a Book of Mantra

Write Mantra like Om Namah Shivaya or Om Rudray Namah in the book. Write Panchakshari mantra 108 times.

Make a practice of writing. After completing the book, give it in the temple or put in River.

Build a temple or give donation in temple

If you are rich, make a temple in your town. You will achieve such a blessing that you can go to Shivloka after life.

Learn from great devotee who meet Shiva in ancient history

Many devotees like Nandi, Ravana and Parvati meet them. Learn from their Devotion, methods of their worship and penance of this devotee.

For example, Devi Parvati spends thousands years in penance to meet Shiva. She even not take water at last stage and Everytime she do Tapascharya. Lord Shiva take her exam by appearing in Brahmchari incarnation but she pass in all tests and she married with Shiva.

Same for Nandi. He do Tapascharya for long time with imagination of God in heart. He become one Ganas of Shiva.

Go away from all material things which distract from Devotion

If something become obstacles in Pooja, do not use it. Concentrate only on pure devotion. All world is an illusion, only reality of God. So, make your goal only to achieve the ultimate reality.

Worship Lord Shiva with water, various flowers, and bilvapatra

Bilvapatra comes from Devi Lakshmi's Prayer. So, by providing belpatra to Lingam, one get Wealth because Lakshmi Devi become happy.

Flowers are also dear to Shiva. We can give all flowers with exception of Ketki.

Because flowers help to keep environment divine, our mind become fresh. By giving various flowers, we stay happy and our wishes will fulfill.

Shiv Puran discussed different flowers and their benefits. Worship with it and see how you become more rich and happy. Blessings of God is always on you from which any enemies or dangers can't harm you. Your whole life filled with happiness and success.

Speak Truth

Lord Shiva like a person who always speaks the truth.

Lord Brahma who lie one time are also punished by Shiva. Mahadev hates man who speak lie.

Make other people devotee

Say other people about God and glory of them. We have to make other people a devotee. Lord is pleased to us because more people know the truth about God and do bhakti of them.

Visit holy places and jyotirlinga

Jyotirlinga is such place where God Rudra stay in form of Shivlingam and it has so much effect that will makes you free from all sins.

Birth and death cycle will stop. We reach Shivloka and achieve eternal happiness. Visit any of Jyotirlinga which is near to your town.

Remember 12 Jyotirling by Dwadash Jyotirling mantra

By chanting Dwadash Jyotirling stotram, we can mentally visit Jyotirling. So if it is not possible to visit physically, chant this stotram.

Fast on Savan Month

Start a somvar vrat which start from first Monday of Saavan. Follow rules on Puja. Visit temple each day in this month. As saavan month called a month of Shivpuja, do Puja during this month which provide everything we need.

Wake up in early morning and dive yourself into devotion

Early Morning is called as Brahmamuhurt which is around 4:30 AM. It is the best time to meditate as the atmosphere is clean and our mind is fresh. So, After wake up chant shiv slokam near to God.

Remove ego from mind and make yourself true devotee

Ravana is great devotee who has Lanka in control. He falls from such position because of ego. So do all karma with thinking of God and think that God controls all things, we do only our duties.
